"HONGHANG" in Chinese means "red" and "voyage." Red represents fire, the seed of energy, while voyage symbolizes the journey of effort. "Dreams in Mind, Advancing with Determination" is the soul of our company. It also reflects the real-life experience of our founder, Ms. Wu Qintong.
Her since childhood, she has been fascinated by the stories of the Red Army's Long March. Deeply inspired by the Red Army’s unyielding and self-reliant spirit, she set her ambition early on—to contribute to the revival of the nation.
In September 2007, the Provincial Economic and Trade Commission listed the Menghe Auto and Motorcycle Parts Industrial Cluster in Changzhou as one of the 100 key industry clusters for cultivation in the province.
In November 2009, the China Machinery Industry Federation issued document No. [2009] 455, officially designating Menghe Town, Changzhou, as "China's Auto and Motorcycle Parts Famous Town."
By 2010, Ms. Wu Qintong, in her early twenties, was influenced by friends and her surrounding environment. She founded Honghang Auto Accessories Co., Ltd., thus embarking on her journey in the auto parts industry. Her mission: to produce higher-quality, cost-effective automotive modification accessories for the world—enhancing both vehicle protection and aesthetics while adding a touch of style and individuality.
At that time, China’s auto parts industry was in a phase of rapid growth. However, in the early days of our startup, we encountered numerous challenges:
1. Factory Setup: Finding a suitable location, securing government approvals, and hiring workers in a remote area were all difficult.
2. Limited Product Range & Innovation: Initially, we lacked R&D capabilities and could only produce generic, unremarkable products, leading to stagnant production and a major bottleneck in company growth.
Ms. Wu Qintong once said, "Whenever we encounter a problem, we solve it. The Long March stretched thousands of miles, and we have only just begun. We must never give up—our products will one day reach every corner of the world."
However, for a first-time entrepreneur starting from scratch, building a globally recognized brand was no easy feat.
Determined to transform the company, Ms. Wu took bold steps:
1. Building a Strong Team: She spared no expense in recruiting top industry talent.
2. Investing in Product Development: She increased investments in molds to ensure that Honghang’s products stood out in the market—offering unique and superior options.
Over the next year, she personally led the team, overseeing everything from R&D and mold development to production and sales. Through hands-on leadership, she successfully steered the company onto the right track by 2014.
By the end of 2015, China’s auto parts market had become chaotic, with severe customer debt issues hindering company growth. Meanwhile, Ms. Wu observed that some businesses in foreign trade were thriving, with orders pouring in and production running overtime.
Compared to domestic trade, the international market offered greater opportunities and broader demand. This realization sparked a new idea—should Honghang pivot towards foreign trade?
Once again, Ms. Wu took the lead in an innovative transformation. In early 2016, Honghang officially entered the global market:
The company promptly assembled an international trade team.
It hired skilled professionals and established a structured organization with clearly defined roles.
Team members were encouraged to be self-driven and proactive.
Today, Honghang’s customers span more than 100 countries worldwide.
